The only thing that will strike you about the Calathea Rattlesnake is its bright green leaves featuring dark green spots on top and its purple undersides. Unlike its namesake, it is not poisonous or venomous -in fact, it’s non-toxic should your pet want some houseplant salad. This calathea is also in the prayer plant family meaning its leaves go up and night and fan out during the day.
Pet-Friendly: This plant is pet-friendly and non-toxic to your furry friends if ingested.
Nursery Pot Disclaimer: The nursery pot your plant arrives in is crucial to proper water drainage. To prevent overwatering and eventually root rot we recommend leaving your plant in the nursery pot, and if desired find a similar size decorative pot to place your nursery pot in.
